The Philippines pride “Pambansang Kamao” Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao defeats Marco Antonio Barrera in an unanimous 12 round decision at the Mandalay Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sunday October 7, 2007 (Oct 6 evening at the US). This is for their rematch called “Will to Win”.

At ringside for Boxing News, Victor Perea reports that “Pacquiao, who previously stopped Barrera four years ago, was again the aggressor and outworked Barrera, who tried to keep the fight tactical. Barrera chose to trade in the fifth, his best round, however, for the most part “Pacman” outgunned the tentative “Baby-faced Assassin.” Barrera was deducted a point for hitting after the break in round eleven, a round where Barrera also sustained a nasty cut under his right eye. Scores were 118-109, 118-109, 115-112.”

There was a furious exchange on rounds 4 and 5. With all the commercials, I have time between rounds to ponder on the event. But the rest of the rounds are very sophisticated and again and again, truly amazing.

Good luck to you Manny and more powers!

yeah i watched the vid in youtube, coz i wasn’t able to watch it on t.v and the fight was really cool, though pacquiao didn’t get to knock him out, still he managed to point out barrera. barrera seems to be stupid for being hot-tempered, he loses his temper i think when he can’t get onto pacquiao. Filipinos are really tough, likewise the filipinas are truly amazing and endearing, i love all filipinos and filipinas even im not T_T
